Mushroom & Bee Yards
The mushroom yard was built in 2020 and grows lion's mane, reishi, shiitake, and oyster mushrooms on tucked-away logs. Our bees have lived here for six years and produce roughly 6–8 gallons of honey each summer.
On the farm
Wander at your own pace. The stops are numbered, but the goats may reroute you — and that's half the fun.

Evening is the best time — around 5–6pm, when they're eager for visitors.

Martha is a master naturalist and herbalist, and the garden shows it. Nearby, a rotating mixed-breed laying flock gives us a rainbow of egg colors and roughly two dozen eggs a day when everyone is laying.

Hugel mounds hold and slow water through the orchard. Two heirloom apple trees supply enough fruit for fresh cider, pies, sauce, and jelly through the fall and winter.

The barn is home to our two Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dogs, a small flock of ducks raised for meat and eggs, and Cornish Cross and Freedom Ranger broilers raised and processed right here on the farm.
